With this Luggage Trailer has a drop down rear door and side door for convenience and roof racks for carrying long items, also can be built into a tandem

There is plenty of options in the sheeting of this trailer such as Sheet Metal or A Composite Panel to make it much lighter.

Another option with the rear door is to have it swing sideways and recessed in.

A View of Eye to Eye Springs being used underneath this Trailer, Leaf Springs or even a Tandem Suspension could be used.

The LH side door is just a steel frame and then sheeted, or it can also be folded up out of Sheet Metal and hinged with simple piano hinge.

Checker Plate or other steel sheets like Galvanize steel or even Aluminum can be used to sheet the floor.

A view with the roof sheet removed to show the internal better

The plans conform to the Australian National Code of Practice – Building Small Trailers (VSB1). Trailers built to comply with this code of practice can be registered for on-road use in Australia
